Bruce Tomes Day on the Water

This event is for Children, Teens, & Adults with Disabilities and Their Families.

On this afternoon, those with developmental disabilities of any age and their immediate family members will be given an opportunity to participate in kayaking and canoeing.

Cost is free for the event, but there will be a $6 fee per vehicle to enter the park.

You are welcome to bring your own picnic lunch if you wish as we are not providing lunch for this activity. Adult supervision is required so you may not send your child, teen, or adult that needs support alone to this event. Once you are registered, you will receive additional information to your email address. Don't forget to BRING SUNSCREEN!

Reservations for this event are required. A limited number of spots are available, so make your reservation ASAP!

By registering for this event through Eventbrite, the participant/guardian, understands and agrees to follow the Ollie Webb Center’s Guidelines when participating in this event. If the participant is a minor or is an individual who has a guardian, the guardian agrees that the participant registered has legal consent to participate in the event or activity. If the participant requires one-on-one support, the participant and/or guardian will schedule this support independent of Ollie Webb Center, Inc. and its staff.

Image/Media Release

Ollie Webb Center, Inc. engages in various forms of public information activities. One way to illustrate the services provided by the organization is to use images, videos, and/or voice recordings of participants served. These may be shown to the general population in various forms, including:

Print: Newspapers, magazines, brochures, flyers, displays, etc.

Electronic: PowerPoint presentations, website, Facebook profile, podcasts, etc.

Video: Television reports, commercials, recorded presentations, etc.

By registering for this event through Eventbrite, the participant/guardian agrees to allow the use of the participant’s image and other forms of media in public relations activities. The name information, if used, will be limited to first name and last name initial unless other arrangements are made.

Liability Release

By registering for this event on Eventbrite, the participant/guardian assumes any risk of harm or injury which might occur from participation in the event or activity. The participant/guardian releases Ollie Webb Center, Inc. and from all liability, costs, and damages which might arise from participant’s participation in the event or activity. The participant/guardian agrees to accept financial responsibility for the costs related to any emergency treatment needed as a result of participation in this event or activity.
